Mah Jongg Offerings

  • All classes are open to all students; they are not gender-specific.

  • For all Mah Jongg classes other than the Beginner level, students must have already learned the game and have some playing experience.

  • Mah Jongg cards should be purchased from the National Mah Jongg League, as cards purchased elsewhere are not always the official card.

  • Min/max: 8-12 players

    3, 2-hour classes

    Includes handouts

  • Min/max: 4-16 players

    One-time 2-hour class

    Includes discussion and play

  • Min/max: 8-16 players

    One-time 2-hour session

    Includes discussion and review of new card (usually in April after new card issued)

  • Min/max: 4-12 players

    One-time 2-hour session

    Supervise players and suggest strategies during play

  • Min/max: 32 players (8 tables) - 60 players (15 tables)

    3-4 hours

    Includes score sheet for Mah Jongg
    Tournament; preparing and posting leaderboard
